The Storchenwiege Talemo is a half-buckle baby carrier that pairs a buckle waist belt with wrap-style shoulder straps you tie for a custom, wrap-like fit. It carries from approximately 3.5 kg (birth) to 15 kg, and is made from Storchenwiege's signature woven sling fabric, produced in Germany for over 40 years.

Wrap softness, buckle practicality

The key difference from a standard buckle carrier: the shoulder straps are tied rather than clipped. This gives the same moldable, even-pressure feel as a woven wrap, adapting to your body and your baby's shape rather than holding a fixed structure. For parents who want wrap-like carry without learning a full wrap, the Talemo is the in-between.

M-position from day one

The continuously adjustable seat bridge ensures your baby sits in the ergonomic M-position (frog position) at every weight and age, knees higher than the seat, thighs fully supported. This promotes healthy hip development from birth through toddler age.

Comfort for the carrier too

The padded waist belt with a three-point safety buckle shifts weight onto your hips. The shoulder straps spread load evenly across your shoulders and back. Integrated headrest supports newborns until they can hold their heads up independently. Includes a chest strap for back carry stability.
