Pouch slings are the most basic type of sling, consisting of a simple piece of fabric which is worn across one shoulder, like a sash. Aside from a few adjustable varieties, there are no fastening mechanisms, making them very easy to use. The sash is doubled over on itself to form a pouch, into which you simply place your baby. Pouch slings can be worn in a range of positions and are suitable from tiny newborn to toddler.
